Hi.  My name is Elinor Miller, known as Ellie to all my friends.  Two of my greatest passions are bird watching and collecting banana stickers.  I am very fortunate to be able to travel to Latin America and other banana-growing areas of the world while ostensibly on birdwatching trips.

The name of this site - BANANAQUIT - is derived from the name of a delightful little bird found in many areas of Latin America.
